Some of the Makita cordless garden tools run on a single 18V battery.  These are ideal for home use and smaller areas.  We even have a 10” Chainsaw with a brushless motor running off an 18V battery.  Very popular because it's light and quiet, but capable of getting through railway sleepers.

Brushless motors result in longer run time, increased power and speed, and longer motor life.

The bigger machines use 36V batteries – 2 x 18V.  A dual rapid charger is available to charge both batteries at the same time.  In fact, it takes only 45 minutes to charge two 5.0Ah batteries.  36V gives you more power and lower run times.

Products will be sent via Australia Post or courier.  Note: Extension poles and products over 1.05 metres in length cannot be sent via Australia Post and must be delivered via courier. Courier delivery must also be a physical address and not a PO Box. It is our aim to minimise delivery costs and in some cases delivery may be subsidised, however CutAbove Tools reserves the right to adjust postage and delivery charges for deliveries outside major metropolitan areas or when otherwise required - you will be contacted prior to processing if this is the case.
