Ratchet secateurs reduce the effort required to prune by around 30%. They are ideal for people who suffer from arthritis or tendonitis and/or those who are not as strong as they used to be.

Ratchet secateurs utilise anvil blade design with one blade closing onto a flat surface. They are ideal for cutting thick branches with both models easily cutting thicker and harder stems.

The Cleanacut Pro 1 aluminium ratchet secateurs are capable of cutting branches up to 25mm thick. It is ideal for all hand sizes, both men and ladies.

The Mini Pro ratchet secateurs are a fibreglass/nylon construction and extremely light. However they still have the amazing power of the ratchet secateurs and will routinely cut through 20mm thick stems. They are ideal for the smaller hand. We are yet to have one returned due to a broken handle or anvil.
